Walnut is a deep, warm brown; ash is pale with a clear, open grain. The grain runs differently in every beam, so no two chandeliers are the same.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eThe glass\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach beam ends in a globe of matte opal glass. The opal glass hides the lamp and gives a soft, round glow against the natural grain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWhy warm light matters\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOpal glass and natural wood both take on the colour of the light. At 2700K the globes glow cream and the wood looks rich and warm; cooler light makes the glass look chalky and the wood grey.
