It is made in black stainless steel, in three sizes: 10 lights, 60 cm (23.6") wide; 12 lights, 90 cm (35.4") wide; and 16 lights, 120 cm (47.2") wide. All three are 58 cm (22.8") high and hang from a standard 50 cm (19.7") rod. It suits a living room, a foyer, a bedroom or a formal dining room.

The finish

The black finish draws each candle tube as a clean, graphic line against pale walls and plaster ceilings, and it holds its colour. The bowl gives the chandelier its weight and grounds the tall tubes above it. It is also made in aged brass.

Sizing and placement

The 60 cm (23.6") suits a living room of about 12 to 20 m² (130 to 215 sq ft), a bedroom or a small foyer. The 90 cm (35.4") suits a main living room of about 20 to 35 m² (215 to 375 sq ft) or a dining table of about 180 to 220 cm (71 to 87"). The 120 cm (47.2") suits a large living room, an open-plan space or a grand foyer. Over a table, hang the bottom of the chandelier 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35") above the surface.

Suspension

With the standard 50 cm (19.7") rod, the chandelier hangs about 108 cm (42.5") from the ceiling, which over a dining table suits ceilings of roughly 2.6 to 2.75 m (8.5 to 9 ft). For higher ceilings the rod is made longer, and it can be made shorter to order.

The light

The upright candle lights give an even, warm light that spreads across the room, more ambient than direct downlight. Output runs from about 2,000 lumens on the 10-light to about 5,000 lumens on the 16-light.

Lamping and installation

G9 lamps: 10, 12 or 16 depending on size.
