Return & Refund Policy
This policy outlines the procedures and conditions under which lamerlighting inc. accepts returns and issues refunds.
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of receipt (as confirmed by your order's tracking number) to submit a return request.
2. Eligible Returns
Returns and refunds are available in two situations:
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect products: If your product has a quality issue, manufacturer defect, was damaged during shipping, or was not what you ordered, you are eligible for a free return or exchange. We cover all return shipping costs in this case.
- Change of mind: If you are unsatisfied for any other reason (e.g., wrong size, no longer needed, ordered by mistake), you may return the item provided it is unused, not installed, in its original sealed packaging, and in resalable condition. The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
3. How to Request a Return
- Email info@lamerlighting.com with your order number, the reason for the return, and clear photos or a short video of the item if relevant.
- Our team will review your request and confirm your refund eligibility within 3 business days.
- We will email you the correct return mailing address and labeling instructions. Do not ship to the address printed on the package without our written confirmation — the correct return destination depends on which fulfillment partner shipped your specific order.
- Securely package the item with the original order confirmation enclosed. We recommend using a shipping method with tracking and signature confirmation. We are not responsible for lost return shipments.
- Notify us with the tracking number after shipping the item back.
4. Refund Processing Time
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it within 3–5 business days and then process your refund within 5–7 business days. The refund will be credited to your original payment method. Bank or credit-card processing may add several additional days for the credit to appear on your statement.
5. Return Shipping Costs (summary)
- Customer pays return shipping: Change-of-mind returns. The original outbound shipping cost (if any was paid by the customer) is also non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
- Lamer Lighting pays return shipping: Confirmed defective, damaged, or incorrect items. We will provide a prepaid label or reimburse documented return shipping costs.
6. Order Cancellations
- Within 24 hours of order placement: Free cancellation, full refund.
- After 24 hours but before shipment: Cancellation may be subject to processing or transaction fees. Contact us promptly so we can attempt to stop the shipment.
- After shipment: Orders cannot be canceled. You may request a return after delivery under the conditions above.
- Custom-made orders: Custom items are not eligible for cancellation once production has begun.
7. Damaged or Defective Items on Arrival
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@lamerlighting.com with photos or videos. We will:
- Send replacement parts at no cost, or
- Replace the entire product if necessary, or
- Issue a full refund — whichever you prefer.
8. No Restocking Fee
We do not charge a handling or restocking fee for approved returns.
9. Items Not Eligible for Return
- Items returned outside the 30-day return window.
- Items not in original condition: used, installed, or with missing parts/packaging.
- Custom-made or made-to-order items.
