Lamer Lighting 2-year limited warranty

lamerlighting inc. provides a 2-year limited warranty on every fixture we sell, beginning on the delivery date. This warranty is in addition to, and lasts far longer than, the 30-day return window in our Return & Refund Policy.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers fixtures purchased from lamerlighting.com and installed in the United States.

What is covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use
  • Electrical components, excluding light bulbs and consumable accessories, that fail under normal operating conditions
  • Structural integrity of the fixture body, frame, and finish

What is not covered

  • Light bulbs and other consumable accessories
  • Damage caused by improper installation, modification, or unauthorised repair
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or natural events such as flood, fire, lightning, or earthquake
  • Damage from voltage spikes, or from electrical systems not compatible with the product's rated voltage
  • Normal wear and tear, such as minor finish wear over time
  • Cosmetic wear that develops after delivery and does not affect function. Cosmetic damage present on arrival is transit damage and is covered in full under our Return & Refund Policy, not here.
  • Commercial or outdoor use of a fixture rated for indoor residential use

How to make a claim

  1. Email info@lamerlighting.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or a short video showing the fault.
  2. We respond within 12–24 hours with next steps.
  3. If your claim is approved:
    • Component faults — we ship free replacement parts at no cost to you
    • Whole-fixture faults — we replace the fixture or, at our discretion, issue a refund
    • Electrical or circuit issues — our team helps diagnose the problem within 1–2 business days before deciding on parts or replacement

We may ask you to return the faulty part or fixture. Where we do, we pay the shipping.

Installation requirements

All fixtures are designed for U.S. 110–120V electrical systems. Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a licensed electrician, following the supplied instructions and all applicable local codes. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, and it does not cover electrician fees, labour charges, or project delays.

After the 2-year period

Once the warranty has expired we still provide technical support to help you resolve issues, but replacement parts and shipping become your cost.
